I know this happens every year but Christmas has snuck up on us again and is almost here! We have loved getting the Christmas lights and decorations up, getting the mulled wine and apple going, and doing our Christmas pilgrimages to Barra Bronzes farm at Oldmeldrum to pick up the world's best turkeys from farmer Craig. We will be open all the way through the festive period at both cafes and will just be closed on the 25th, 26th and the 1st. Our Ellon cafe will also continue its evening openings.
Alongside delicious coffees, meals, treats, cocktails, beers and all the rest, we are fully stocked with loads of coffee to take home for your festive brews and also lots of coffee related gifts for all coffee lovers. if you are struggling to find something for the coffee lover who has it all, how about a spot on one of our coffee masterclasses? You can find al the details on our here. Also, just landed, are our new coffee journey t-shirts! Drawn by Jonny's sister, these show the whole journey of coffee, from the tree to your cup!
Santa is bringing us a coffee roaster!
The building work for our coffee roastery is coming on beautifully. The plumber has roughed in all the pipes, the sparky is heading our way very soon to get all the cables in, the windows are on their way to us and the final roof covering is on its way too! Going to keep what the roof covering is a secret just now so as to not spoil the surprise but we are super excited about it! Let's just say you won't miss it once it is on! Whilst we are busy building a nice home for it, the actual coffee roaster has been collected from the factory in California, has hopped on a boat and is on its way to us! It has very recently passed through the Panama Canal and is due to arrive in Scotland just after Christmas!
