Let's catch up!
It's been a little minute since we wrote a blog as we have been a little busy!
If you are reading then there is a good chance you probably know what we have been up to but in case you missed it, we have been building a coffee roastery!
Instead of putting our feet up when the first covid lockdown hit we took the opportunity to explore an idea that we had been toying with in the back of our minds for years. The idea to roast our own coffee.
To cut a long story short, 229 investors and a year and a half of building works later we are just about to turn that wild dream into a reality.
Our roaster has arrived from California, been installed and commissioned, our green beans (they are green before they are roasted and turned brown) have been sourced and have arrived. The packaging should land on our doorstep any day now and our shiny new website with a fully loaded e- commerce system is about to launch.

While lots of attention has been on the roastery project we have never forgotten our first loves, our two cafes! Lots of deliciousness has been flying out of the kitchens and from behind the bar. We have also done a few tests in the cafes of our own house espresso blend that we have roasted. We had lots of positive comments which has been great to hear as we refine our roasting! We can't wait to let it fully loose in the wild very soon!
